Every Day Is My Winning Season

When was the last time you felt like you were winning? For some, it was today because you went to the gym and ate a healthy diet. For others, it was after you accomplished a major task like applying for a new job or turning in the application to go back to school.  For some, a win was simply being polite to a neighbor or co-worker. For some, the win was simply washing and folding laundry (I am raising my hand). No matter the win, a win is still a win.

There Are No Shortcuts To Winning

We have all had times when we felt like we were not winning. What happens when you feel like you are not winning or that this is not your winning season? How do you get up when you feel that winning is at a distance. Today I want to encourage you to go DEEP in your soul and find that tenacity, that determination, that persistence that your mother and grandmother and all our ancestors had when they were faced with adversity.

There are no shortcuts to winning; it is a journey full of hard work, perseverance, commitment, and sacrifice! The one and only secret to winning is to never give up! I know this may not seem easy when distractions come in the form or “rejection” but a rejection today does not mean a failed promise or a failed purpose. My daily prayer is God help me to accept your will and purpose for my life.

Every Season is My Winning Season

Many people get discouraged thinking that this is not their winning season and end up giving up before their purpose and promise is fulfilled. The winning season is a synonym for hard work; it is the RESULT of hard work coupled with prayer. The day you give up on your promise and purpose marks the end of your winning season because it also takes FAITH to win.  For those of us who are a believer in Christ, we know that every season is our winning season. We hold the Romans 8:37 dear to our heart that we “are more a conqueror through Him that loved us” [Romans 8:37].

If I get a NO, I am winning.

If the application is denied I am winning.

If the doctor gives me a report that I do not agree with, I am winning.

If a loved one leaves this world “too soon,” I am winning.

If I have more financial responsibilities than money, I am winning.

If I experience heartbreak, I am winning.

I am winning because everyday is my winning season

If you believe that every day, every season is your winning season share below some areas in your life in which you are winning! I look forward to reading your responses below.
